Connect with as many successful agents as you can and learn from them. NAIFA is perfect for this! I have personally connected with numerous YATs and veteran agents from across the country and can contact them if I have questions about a case, the industry, product knowledge, etc. We are all facing many of the same struggles and it’s nice to hear from others in the same position as to how they have overcome them. NAIFA is a fantastic opportunity, especially for new agents!

“I joined the insurance business in 2007. I knew I wanted to own my own business and when I was recruited by Aflac, I made the leap and never looked back.
Ever since joining NAIFA I have been an active and dedicated member. I started out on the board as the membership chair. “It’ll be easy,” they said. Although challenging I found the opportunity extremely rewarding.
I have been with NAIFA for over five years now and have risen through my local chairs and serve as Montana’s State YAT Chair. My business evolved over time and in the fall of 2012, I became a Financial Representative with Guardian. I now have an amazing group of professionals I get to work with every day.”
